WSRU Helps The Go Green Dance

On Saturday, March 27, The Environment Club will be hosting its annual Go Green Dance. The music for the dance will be played by WSRU DJ’s throughout the night. The event runs from 9:00pm-1:00am in Ochre Court. Tickets will be sold prior to the dance in Miley and O’Hare between March 23-26 for $3, however the cost at the door is $5. All of the proceeds will be going to the Surfrider Foundation. So please come out and support Mother Earth. Don’t forget to wear white!

JEM – Studio Appearance!

On Thursday March 18 from 6:30-8:00pm, WSRU’s Kickin’ It Real will host a LIVE studio appearance with Haitian born hip-hop artist JEM. He will be promoting his recently released album “I Am Haiti,” in which all benefits will go directly to Haiti to aid relief efforts. The DJ’s will be taking calls on the hotline and playing a lot of JEM’s material. So tune in on Thursday or stop by the studio for a chance to meet JEM!

All this week

Make sure to look for WSRU around campus this week.  We will be giving out prizes and working up some spring break spirit.  You can find us at Miley hall during dinner hours, and out and about on campus most of the week.  Come talk to us and get your free swag!

New Format

As you have probably noticed, wsruradio.net has been reformatted for easier access and move convenient use.  To access the live stream, simply click on the image in the column to the right.  A new tab or window will open with only the stream video inside it.  This way you will be able to continue browsing the wsru site and move on to other websites while continuing to listen to and watch the broadcast.  We hope you enjoy the new layout and welcome any comments or suggestions you may have.
